From college suite mates at McDaniel College to taking the next step in their lives together, Steph and Kyle have been the best of friends for the past 11 years and lovers for 7 of those years!
Over the course of their relationship, Steph and Kyle have had to navigate the ups and downs of a long-distance relationship for 5.5 years of their relationship. But nothing could keep them apart. They spent countless weekends traveling to visit one another and going on exciting adventures together in Maryland and Harrisburg, PA and when they weren’t hitting the road to see each other they Facetimed every Sunday night to stay connected!
Together, they grew and evolved as their love deepened with each passing year.

Fall 2023 – A Friendship Begins
Steph and Kyle met in 2013 at McDaniel College. They quickly became the best of friend all thanks to Danny for bringing them together to live in the same suite in North Village. Their friendship was filled with long chats over breakfast, competitive Mario Kart races, and constant pranking!
May 23, 2015 – Graduation
Steph and Kyle graduated college and parted ways not knowing that one day would start a new journey together 2 years later!
April 27, 2017 – Their First Date
Their first date (technically) at Longhorn Steakhouse! After texting daily through the fall and winter of 2016 and despite a small rejection on New Year’s Eve (Steph is embarrassed about that one), Steph invited Kyle to be her date to a wedding in June 2017 despite her little blunder. They decided to go on a few dates leading up to the wedding and their romantic relationship started to bloom!
June 10, 2017 – It’s Official
Steph made her first trip to visit Kyle in Pittsburgh (that’s 4 hours of driving)! After talking to each other for hours on that Friday night, Kyle asked her to be his girlfriend in the middle of the night and of course Steph said yes (spoiler alert that happens again 6 years later haha)!
2020 – The Pandemic
Even when the world shut down due to the COVID pandemic, their love conquered all. For 3 months, they did not get to physically see each other and relied exclusively on Facetime to continue deepening their relationship. On their 3rd dating anniversary, they finally got to see each other again after being separated for those 3 long months!
June 10, 2022 – 5 Year anniversary
Steph and Kyle celebrated 5 years together with an adventure to the historic triangle in Virginia where they explored Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown! Fun fact almost allof their adventures have been to historic towns that also include Gettysburg and Charlottesville!
January 1, 2023 – Moving in
After 5.5 years at distance, Steph and Kyle finally decided to move in together. On New Year’s Day, Steph took the leap and moved down to Maryland where they now share an apartment that they call home!
June 17, 2023 – Swolemates
Steph and Kyle competed in their first bodybuilding show together (Steph’s 3rd show)! They say if you can survive prep together then you are truly meant to be together!
August 25, 2023 – She Said Yes!
On the magical day of August 25, 2023, Kyle got down on one knee and asked Steph to be his forever (even though they had gotten in a fight that morning – God bless Kyle!) where they had celebrated their 5 year anniversary the year prior. Somehow Kyle had pulled off the ultimate proposal surprise with the help of Emily and Joell. Steph still can’t believe how she had no idea it was coming!
October 26, 2024 – Destined to be a Dunn
As they prepare to say “I do” and begin the next chapter of their love story, Steph and Kyle are overjoyed to celebrate with their family, friends, and loved ones. Join them in raising a glass to their happiness and future together, and let’s make their special day one to remember!
